Scenario: Team Branding
At Covenant Eyes, my boss challenged our newly formed team to come up with a logo. Our main parameter was the team name: "Delta."
Goals
Come up with a logo design the whole team liked!
Process
I sketched three ideas on my iPad using Autodesk SketchBook. Two of the sketches incoroporated a geographical "river delta," inspired by our CEO's love of geology. The third option incorporates a rising and falling graph, which represents change (the mathematical "delta"). Our team was also working a lot with graphs!
Outcome
The team really liked the third option, and it has the advantage of simplicity. One of my coworkers improved it by making a nice gif:
